Undead ATC Swap

This ATC was for the Illustrator and Printmaker Group's Legendary: Undead Swap. I used Micron pens, Bic Markits, Sharpies, Derwent Pastel Pencils, Iridescent Acrylic Medium, Glimmermist, and sticks to create the haunting effects.  I enjoyed the process of trying to make the ghost boy look transparent.  I think I will have to break into alcohol inks to discover even more great effects for illustrations like these!

Hand Drawn Fairies Round 2 Swap

These two lovely fairies are ATCs for Swap-bot's Hand Drawn Fairies Swap.  They are inked with Micron pen, then flat colored with BIC Markits and Sharpies.  Shading and detail is created with pastel pencil.  The final touches are Stickles and Glimmermist.  This time for FairyDust!

 

Stargazer is a lovely fairy, and she knows it.  She decorates herself with flowers and petals to dress up her lily skirt and top.  She was drawn with BIC Markits, Sharpie Markers, pastel pencils, Stickles, and Glimmermist, for the Hand Drawn Fairies-Round 2 Swap.

Lupine has a crush on Stargazer. He is always out looking for flowers to give her so she can wear them. I'm not so sure she notices his efforts, but he can't help it--he is smitten. He was drawn with BIC Markits, Sharpie Markers, pastel pencils, Stickles, and Glimmermist, for the Hand Drawn Fairies-Round 2 Swap.

Trinket's Black Cat Swap

For this swap, I made two ATCs for two partners, so there were lots of black cats to go around.  All are created on a Bristol blank with felt marker, pastel pencil, stickles, and a touch of Glimmermist for magic.  Watch out, these kitties will trap you in their spell!

Becoming Familiar ATC

This black kitten is playing with his owner's magical items. It is all too fun to become a familiar!

This playful family of black cats is right at home in a Jack O Lantern.

A family of black cats asleep in their owner's cauldron. Of course, Mama Cat has caught them in the act.

These two black kitties are having a fun time playing in this Jack O Lantern. One has to wonder if their owner is dressing up for an occasion or is truly in need of two familiars.

Zodiac ATC

This ATC was for swap-bot's Zodiac ATC Swap.  My partner was a Pisces, so I created a Pisces image with two circling bettas defending their bubble nests.  I used Sharpie and BIC markers, Stickles (Ranger), and Glimmermist (Tattered Angels) to create the effects.  Enjoy!

Two new cards

This weekend I had the opportunity to try some new techniques for cardmaking with my mom. These are the result:

Both use Distressed Ink, Stickles, Glimmer Mist, and BIC Markers.  The bottom also has Cricut Pagoda flowers with bling (they are popped out with Popdots) and Hero Arts Stamping.  There are also Japanese butterflies and dragonflies lightly stamped in Martha Stewart white over the papers of the second card.  My mom stamped the bird on the first, so I don't know who makes that stamp.
